We specialise in residential construction across Brisbane and South East Queensland. This includes building brand new homes from scratch, extending existing homes, and full home renovations. We also do a lot of large deck and flyover roof projects, as well as complete internal renovations — kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, and repaints all completed at the same time.
Do I need a licensed builder for home renovations in Queensland?
Yes, for any building work valued over $3,300 in Queensland, you must use a QBCC (Queensland Building and Construction Commission) licensed builder. This protects you with statutory warranties and ensures your renovation meets building codes. Wilabi Constructions is fully QBCC licensed and insured.
What areas in Brisbane do Wilabi Constructions service?
While we service all of Brisbane and the wider South East Queensland region, the majority of our work is situated in the outer north west of Brisbane. Over the years we've developed a close-knit team of suppliers and contractors in that area, which means we can deliver projects more efficiently and cost-effectively. That said, we're happy to take on projects across Brisbane and SEQ.
How long does a home renovation or extension take?
Timelines depend on the scope of work. A large internal renovation (kitchen, bathroom, flooring, repaint) typically takes 6-10 weeks. Extensions generally take 12-20 weeks, and new home builds vary based on size and complexity. We provide detailed timelines with every quote and keep you informed throughout.

Absolutely — that's one of our specialties. We can renovate your kitchen, bathrooms, flooring, and repaint your entire home as one coordinated project. This is faster, less disruptive, and more cost-effective than doing each room separately with different trades.
